Discovery Workshops

Perfect for the young teen with a deep love of wildlife or an interest in animal-related careers, Discovery Workshops delve into issues related to zookeeping and wildlife conservation.  Through hands-on explorations and discussions with zoo staff, students will have the chance to make new friends and discover what animal careers are all about.  Each session focuses on a different aspect of working with and around animals.  Interactions with live animals included in all sessions.  Behind-the-scenes access and exhibit tours included, weather-permitting.  Close-toed shoes required for participation.
