Educational Tours

Focus: Wildlife education topic of choice (please see below theme list for more details)

For:  School groups, youth organizations, scouts, clubs, etc. Youth audiences plus their adult chaperones

Ages:  4 years and up

Participation limits: Minimum: 2, Maximum:25

Supervisory requirements:  Minimum 1 adult per 13 children.  Adult chaperones may be limited to 3 for classroom component, as necessary

Duration: Approximately 60 - 75 minutes

Available: June through March

Fee: $100 per tour group (after-hours and off-season reservations may be subject to additional fees)

What’s Included:

  • 30 minute themed classroom presentation including 3 Animal Ambassadors
  •  A guided tour of 2-3 exhibit areas to compliment theme 

*Themes available: Animals Have Class (classification), Homes and Habitats, Amazing Adaptations, Rainforest Romp, Endangered Species, Zoo Jobs, Best Pets, custom themes may be available
