Drug Investigation Leads to Multiple Arrests

   
LAFAYETTE, INDIANA – August 20th, 2020


            On 8/19/2020 at 12:58 pm the Lafayette Police Department stopped a vehicle at the intersection of S 4th St and Romig St. for failure to yield the right of way to another vehicle.  During the course of the stop the driver, Jesse Berry (27) was found to be in possession of 58 grams of marijuana. 


The traffic stop led to a search warrant being issued for a residence at 1401 Holloway Dr.  During the search of the residence 714 grams of marijuana, 33 THC vape cartridges, 12 containers of THC gummies, paraphernalia, and a handgun were seized. 


The initial search warrant led to officers investigating a storage unit in the 2600 block of Old US Hwy 231 S.  Another search warrant was obtained for this location.  During the course of the search officers located 5.448 pounds of marijuana, 403 containers of THC gummies, 1 handgun, 1 rifle, and paraphernalia.


This investigation led to the arrest of the following individuals.  Berry was arrested during the course of the traffic stop.  William Jackson and Bailey Pascua were arrested at their residence at 709 S 5th St.
