On Saturday morning, 08/29/2015, at 3:34 AM, the Lafayette Police Department responded to the Burger King restaurant at 4092 SR 26 East reference a report of armed robbery.


The closing manager advised that as she was leaving the store with the night deposit, a subject ran up to her in the parking lot. This subject was reportedly armed with a handgun at that time and had a bandana covering the lower half of his face. As he approached the manager, the suspect demanded she give him the money. The suspect grabbed the deposit and then fled north towards the Village Square apartment complex.


The manager was able to identify the suspect as Mitchell Fulton, a former employee, whom she advised lives in the Village Square apartment complex. Officers were able to locate Mitchell A. Fulton and the money from the Burger King’s bank deposit at his apartment and he was arrested for armed robbery.
