On 12/20/2015 at approximately 5:36 pm, LPD responded to 1900 Schuyler Avenue reference a shooting. Officers arrived and located Michael W. Hickman II (age 25) with what appeared to be multiple gunshot and shrapnel wounds. Hickman was transported to a local hospital and then airlifted to Indianapolis.
Jordan S. Thomas (age 25) was located at the scene, and later arrested on preliminary charges of - battery by means of a deadly weapon. Thomas was uninjured.
