[ARCHIVED] CVS Robbery and Attempted Robbery

On February 29th, at 3:05pm, the Lafayette Police Department responded to CVS at 2 Shenandoah Dr in reference to a report of an attempted robbery. It was reported that a male had entered the store and approached the pharmacy. The subject claimed to have a weapon, but no weapon was displayed. After attempting to get prescription medication, he fled the store, running northbound from the scene. He was not able to steal any medication.

The subject was described as a black male, 20’s, 5’8”-5’10”, medium build, wearing a red baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, and jeans with sparkles on the back pockets.

At 3:34pm, the department responded to a call at CVS at 50 Sagamore Pkwy S in reference to a report of a robbery. Responding officers were advised that a male had entered the store and demanded prescription medication from the pharmacy. No weapon was displayed. After obtaining the medication, the male fled northbound in a gold Buick.

The subject was described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall, thin to medium build, wearing a white t-shirt, black bandana, and black running pants.
