[ARCHIVED] Drug Arrests

On March 3rd at approximately 3:30pm, officers from the Lafayette Police Department and investigators with the Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the West Lafayette Police Department and the Indiana State Police, spoke with individuals at two residences in Lafayette and West Lafayette, 501 Elston Rd, Lafayette and 326 S Chauncey Ave, West Lafayette. These originated from a tip from a citizen about drug abuse at these locations. During these incidents, two arrests were made and numerous items related to drug dealing and drug possession were seized.

Arrested:

Brandon Shoff (23 years old, of Lafayette)
- Charges include Dealing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

William Jeffers (20 years old, of West Lafayette)
- Charges include Dealing Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana.

Items seized during the incidents included:
- A 9mm handgun
- 5 ½ pounds of marijuana
- Nearly $20,000 in US currency
- Schedule IV narcotics
- Items for manufacturing marijuana products (oil and edibles)
- Numerous items of paraphernalia
