On March 10th, a nearly 9-month investigation by the Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force and the Lafayette Police Street Crimes Unit culminated in the arrest of a subject for dealing heroin and crack cocaine in the City of Lafayette. The suspect was identified as Warren O. Blakeley (25 years old and of Chicago, IL). The investigation began in June of 2015 where Blakeley was identified as the dealer in several controlled buys, involving the Drug Task Force. A warrant was later issued for Blakeley’s arrest. He was arrested today without incident in Chicago, IL. He will be transported back to Tippecanoe County at a later time.

- Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 5 Felony)
- Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 5 Felony)
- Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 5 Felony)
- Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 5 Felony)
- Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug 1-5 grams (Level 4 Felony)
- Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug 5-10 grams (Level 3 Felony)
- Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug 1-5 grams (Level 4 Felony)
- Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug 5-10 grams (Level 5 Felony)
- Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 6 Felony)
- Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 6 Felony)
- Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 6 Felony)
- Resisting Law Enforcement (A Misdemeanor)
