[ARCHIVED] Robbery on Maple Points Drive

On May 6th at about 11:00 am Lafayette Police responded to a report of an armed robbery having just occurred at 2535 Maple Points Drive, World Finance Corporation. The reported victim stated the alleged suspect was armed with a handgun and fled on foot. There were no reported injuries. The alleged suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money. Police remain at the scene collecting evidence and conducting witness interviews.

The alleged suspect is described as a black male, 5’08 – 5’10, thin build, wearing a black hoodie, dark jeans, and a light colored cloth material covering his face. Police ask anyone with information on this incident to contact the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200 or the anonymous We-Tip Hotline at 800-78-CRIME.
