On May 11, at about 7:30 pm, the Lafayette Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the CVS pharmacy at 2 Shenandoah Drive. Patrol officers arrived and were advised the alleged suspect had fled on foot, but were able to obtain a suspect description from witnesses. Officers utilized a K9 to attempt to track the suspect from the business.
Through lead information and witness tips officers were able to locate a 14-year-old juvenile male, matching the description of the alleged robbery suspect, near Greenbush Street and Chauncey Drive. The juvenile male was subsequently arrested for robbery.
