Armed Robberies at Brady / Concord Village Pantry

Lafayette Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 3150 Brady Lane Village Pantry. The female victim reported she went to the Village Pantry for a drink and when she finished with her business inside the store, she exited and was accosted outside by a black male, wearing a ski mask, pointing a handgun at her. The woman reported the alleged suspect demanded her cell phone and cash. The woman was not injured. Police conducted a search, but the alleged suspect was not located.

Lafayette Police responded a report of an armed robbery at the 3150 Brady Lane Village Pantry. This time the reported victim was the store clerk and stated a tall, thin, black male, wearing a ski mask, robbed the store at gunpoint. The victim’s statement was the armed bandit entered the store, walked around the register, and stole the clerk’s cell phone, cash from the register, and cigarettes. The police were unable to locate the alleged suspect.
Detectives are collecting physical evidence, surveillance video, and working to determine if these two robberies are related. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lafayette Police Department at (765) 807-1200 or the anonymous We-Tip Hotline at (800) 78-CRIME.
