[ARCHIVED] Super 8 Motel Robbery

On September 7th, at approximately 4:14am, the Lafayette Police Department responded to the Super 8 motel at 4301 South St in reference to a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers were advised that a white male, mid-20’s, 5’6”-5’8”, skinny, wearing a gray shirt, and bandana covering his face entered the motel and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene eastbound. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported during the incident.

An Indiana State Police K9 assisted LPD officers with a track of the suspect. Additional evidence was located, but the suspect was not apprehended. Officers and detectives continue to investigate and collect evidence.
