[ARCHIVED] Shooting at S. 24th and Brice Street


Shooting Investigation

Around 2:30 AM on March 20th the Lafayette Police Department received an emergency call stating a female had been shot in the area of South 24th Street and Brice Street. The reporting party was driving to an area hospital with the female victim in the vehicle when the call to police was made. The victim arrived at the hospital and was treated for a gunshot wound. The victim is currently reported to be in stable condition.


Detectives and crime scene investigators conducted follow up investigation in the area of South 24th Street and Brice Street. The investigation is on-going and anyone with information is asked to contact the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200 or the anonymous We-Tip Hotline at (800) 78-CRIME.
