Five Points Redevelopment Plan News


The City of Lafayette Economic Development Department and their consultants, MKSK, held a public input meeting and workshop on June 29, 2017.  Attendees were invited to share their thoughts and concerns regarding the Five Points improvement plans.

Mayor Roswarski welcomed the public and in his opening remarks, reassured all that there are no plans for the City to take any private properties.  MKSK gave a short presentation that outlined their research so far and discussed opportunities for revitalization in the Five Points area.  The public was then invited to visit workshop stations to get a closer look at the market analysis displays, participate in dot voting, offer suggestions and opinions, and discuss ideas and concerns with the team members.
