Robbery Arrests
The Lafayette Police investigate two robberies on the early morning hours of September 20th. The Marathon gas station in the 900 block of Ferry Street reported an armed robbery at 3:15 am and about 10 minutes later the Friendly Market in the 3100 block of Underwood Street also reported an armed robbery. There were no injuries at either robbery.
Detectives investigated the case by reviewing evidence and case facts. Police arrested 23-year-old Zachary Whitus of Lafayette for Robbery and Theft.
