The following individual has been arrested stemming from investigations conducted by the Drug Task Force and the Indiana State Police. 


ARRESTED:             Amanda R Alsup

                                    2206 Dakota Dr. Lafayette, IN

                                    Age: 42


On October 10th, 2017, Amanda Alsup was arrested for three counts of Dealing in a Narcotic Drug, and three counts of Possession of Narcotic Drug.  Alsup sold heroin and prescription medication to an undercover officer on several occasions in 2017.  Alsup was located at her place of residence when she was detained by LPD Street Crimes Units.  Alsup was transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail. 


The Drug Task Force works diligently to investigate and bring individuals involved in narcotic sales to justice. This is the fourth arrest of narcotics dealers in less than a week and more arrests are expected.


The Drug Task Force would like to thank all concerned citizens who report drug activity and recognize the invaluable community partnerships needed to keep our community safe. The fact a person has been arrested or charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
