Lafayette Police Swearing in Four New Officers and Promoting Three Officers
Please join the Lafayette Police Department on Friday, February 23rd at 10:00 AM in the Lafayette City Council Chambers for a promotional and swearing in ceremony. The police department will be swearing in four new police officers and will also be conducting a pinning ceremony celebrating the promotion of three officers.
Brad Bishop, a 20 year veteran of the Lafayette Police Department will be promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief. Also, Joe Clyde a 20 year veteran will be promoted to the rank of Captain.
A promotion to Lieutenant will also be conducted during the ceremony. The officer being promoted to Lieutenant will be announced on the 23rd.
