Homicide Investigation

On the morning of Friday, March 2^nd, Lafayette Police responded to a report of a shooting incident in the area of South 9^th Street and Virginia Street. Officers arrived and located a victim, only identified at this point as an adult male.   The man is deceased and the case is being investigated by police as a homicide.

Police continue to investigate the scene and will we communicate any updates or information.
