[ARCHIVED] 2018 Zoo Run Run 5k

Columbian Park Zoo is busy preparing for the event and issuing a call for
participants and volunteers. The race will be held Saturday, July 21 at 8:00 a.m. Race day
activities begin at 6:00 a.m. and are expected to conclude by 11:00 a.m.


The race route, which begins inside Columbian Park near the Zoo, will require closures of
residential intersections along Scott Street and within the neighborhood between Columbian
Park and Earl Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.


Online registration is available now through Friday, July 20 at www.zoorunrun.com . After July
20, those still wanting to participate can register in-person from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the
Zoo’s front entrance on Friday, July 20 and on race day morning from 6:30 a.m. until 7:15 a.m.


Participants receive a free breakfast, provided by MaryLou Donuts, as well as a race day t-shirt
provided by Freckles Graphics Inc. Pre-registration before July 1 is $20, after July 1 is $25 and
day-of-race registration is $35. Other race day activities include vendor booths, zoo animal meet
and greets, door prizes and giveaways. Bring the whole family and enjoy a great morning of fun
and fitness at Columbian Park Zoo!
