Lafayette Police Make Arrest for Child Exploitation 

In late 2018 the Lafayette Police Department received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, about a person that was in possession of child pornography.  Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department, in conjunction with the Tippecanoe County High Tech Crime Unit investigated the information and determined that it was occurring at 1118 S 5th St, Lafayette, IN. 

On March 6th, 2019 at 7:30 am, a search warrant was served at that location.  As a result of the search warrant and investigation images depicting child pornography were located. Brian Port, 46 was arrested for 4 counts of child exploitation, a level 5 felony.
