Update: Lafayette Police Have Identified a Person of Interest in Homicide Investigation

On 4/11/2019 the Lafayette Police Department contacted the Dayton, OH police department for assistance with locating Andrew Alcorns.  Through the ongoing investigation Lafayette detectives were able to determine that Alcorns was a person of interest in the homicide investigation that occurred on April 7th, 2019. 

The Dayton, OH police department was able to locate Alcorns.  During the investigation by the Dayton, OH police department, Alcorns suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and is being treated at a Dayton, OH hospital. 

This investigation is ongoing.
