Arrest made in double homicide

Arrest Made in Double Homicide


On August 11th, 2017 the Lafayette Police Department arrested Franco Navarrete for the double homicide that occurred on August 10th, 2017 in the 800 block of Eastwich Dr.  Franco Navarrete was arrested and booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail for two counts of murder. 


The two victims were identified by the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s office as Catalina Lujano-Campuzano (67) and Gustavo Sanchez-Campuzan (38). 


This case remains under investigation by the Lafayette Police Detective division.  Anyone with further information regarding this crime should contact the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200, or through the anonymous WeTip hotline at 800-78-CRIME.
