When landlords empty their rental property, it is currently acceptable practices to pile it all on the property, (or wherever it lands). I feel that they landlords should be required to hire a hauling company to place a container on the property and throw everything into the container. Thus the neighborhood does not have to look at the mess for as long as it takes the city to force the landlord to clean it up.

Tips for improving compliance with the green initiative in the home. For example, Earth Breeze is a completely dissolvable, laundry detergent sheet. They come in your mailbox in a biodegradable pouch. A portion of the purchase goes to supplying those in need with the product and also to environmental beach clean up and garden planting. Replace toxic chemicals in the home with vinegar for regular cleaning and windows. Add 1/4 C to every load of laundry and 1/4 C to every dishwasher load to prevent and completely remove scale. Tips like these can go a long way to improve indoor health, care for the environment and compassion for others.

There is currently a bike path that runs from Beck Lane (East of Durco Drive) to 18th Street (N of Normandy drive) in the place of an abandoned rail line. That same siding space continues to the southeast, until it splits off as an abandoned rail bed running south of Heartland Automotive, out of Lafayette to Stockwell, Clark's Hill, Colfax, and finally Thornown, where it becomes the Farm Heritage Trail/Big 4 Trail. With Lafayette's participation and support, this could eventually become a trail to Zionsville, providing significant bike tourism to businesses on Veterans Memorial. It will also make Lafayette more bike-friendly, potentially reducing congestion on Brady Lane and Veterans Memorial Parkway

I think when a litter is sent out saying that someone's property is against city codes, we should know the number of the code it is violating.

I love the water walking programs, but we cannot actually swim in the pools. Many times, I wish I could go to the pool, but there are so many children around, it gets chaotic and it's not the peaceful swim I'd like. If we could have 'adults only' swim times, even once a week, I think that'd be well received.

I think having a public outdoor track/archery field would be good for the community, for those who love to run or need to run or just want to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow. It would hopefully bring people out doors. I've been running for a few months and i see other running. i can see if we hold events for charities or it could bring more people out and feel like a community. and the archery would teach kids or adults a new hobby or skill. it basically gets people out and to have fun or help people get out of their comfort zones. there is a large community out there wanting to do stuff like this but feel unsafe to do it on side walks or parks. there is pros and cons about it. i honestly think it would bring some of the community together.

It would be nice if only a very few road projects were going on at a time. It is a real hassle going anywhere in Lafayette. How long is the mess going to go on?
