Detail summary of closures: Installing jersey barriers with chain link fence on top of barriers, closing off parking and sidewalk on the South side of South Street from the entry into Regions Bank parking lot, East to 5th Street; then the Southbound lane and sidewalk on 5th Street from South Street to Alabama Street; then the Westbound lane and sidewalk on Alabama Street from 5th Street to 4th Street.     Vectren will have lane restrictions on Greenbush Street at Sagamore Parkway September 2nd-3rd for road repairs. The lane restrictions are on the west side of Sagamore Parkway at the intersection.     From September 2 to September 3rd, the Southbound Lane of Old US 231 just South of the Twyckenham Blvd will be closed for the installation of a gas main.  Traffic will be rerouted through the Northbound Lane, returning to the Southbound Lane after the median.  There will be sidewalk closed signs, utility work ahead signs, and a cone zone.  Flaggers will be used intermittently when equipment and steel plates are being moved.

    Several streets will be closed and parking will be restricted on September 3rd, for the Greater Lafayette Kickoff Bash.  Beginning at 10:00 AM to allow for setup, the following roads will be closed:  6th Street from Columbia to Ferry, 7th St from Columbia to Main, and Main St from Alley between 5th, 6th, to 8th St.  The reserved parking lot between Columbia and Main St. will be closed with no access during the same hours.  There will be barricades, no parking signs, and road closure signs.

    The Greater Lafayette Kickoff Bash event will take place from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  Attendance is expected to be in the thousands, with security provided, food tents, and restroom facilities.  The Kickoff Bash will be featuring a series of events taking place from September 3rd to September 5th in Lafayette and West Lafayette.
