Board of Public Works and Safety Meeting

Lane Restrictions - Entire Southlea Subdivision

From March 22 to December 31, there will be gas line work in the entire Southlea Subdivision. Bound by Beck Lane, S 9th St, Twyckenham, and S 18th St, activity will be centered in the subdivison along with supplies/equipment and care will be taken to minimize disruption to the flow of traffic. Lane Closures - Vinton Woods Subdivision

From July 20 to November 17, there will be partial closures throughout the Vinton Woods Subdivision to repair portions of the concrete streets. Roads will be down to one lane at a time as work progresses through these areas: Catalpa, Cedar, Price, Peppertree, and Almond - beginning on Catalpa and moving towards O'Farrell. Road Closure - Eppingham and Concord

On or after 09-05-2023 HIS Constructors Inc. will be closing Concord Road between Marcasite Blvd and Promenade Pkwy to through traffic. Access to Marcasite Blvd will be open south of the closure through the entirety of the project. This closure will be in place for approximately 3 months. Detour routes will be marked, and Maintenance of Traffic Plans are available for viewing on the Tippecanoe County Highway Department Web Site under “Current Project Plans and Documents.”

Lane Shift - Earl Ave.

From September 20 to October 18, there will be a lane shift on Earl Ave from Union to Ferry. This will not be a closure, just a minor shift. Flaggers will be on hand to shift traffic. For further information and inquiries, please contact James Boggs at 765-242-1701 or jamesboggs747@icloud.com

Paving Work - Teal Road

From October 9 to October 20, there will be paving work on Teal road between the railroad bridge and 30th St. The minor intersections will be closed as they are being worked on. The major intersections at 18th and 19th will have long wait times up to 20 minutes before traffic can be allowed back on it. Expect long delays for the next two weeks. Intersection Closure - 9th and Beck

Lane Closure - 1902 Maple

Lane Closure - Union St.

One Lane Roads - Vinton Woods Subdivision

From October 16 to 18, the Vinton Woods Subdivision will be reduced to single lane traffic on Mulberry Dr between Pine ln and Redwood ln. Please use the entrance of Hemlock off of Greenbush to access Vinton Woods during this time. Flaggers and signs will be present to alert traffic.
