Tropicanoe Cove

Kick off your shoes, grab your swim suit and come experience a taste of the tropics in the heart of Indiana. Only Tropicanoe Cove offers the perfect blend of Hoosier hospitality with the pleasure of a watery paradise. From the spiraling Banana Peel tube slide to the leisurely Cattail Crik, you're sure to find plenty of cool summertime fun for the entire family!

Tropicanoe Cove is located in Lafayette's historic Columbian Park. Parking is available near the corner of Main and Scott Streets.

NOTE: No outside food and beverages are permitted inside the water park. You may leave the Cove to enjoy a picnic in Columbian Park and return afterwards, provided you leave your wristband on.

Back-to-School hours will begin August 11 - Tropicanoe Cove will be open weekends only. 


Rent a Cabana

A new and exciting private amenity is now available at Tropicanoe Cove - rent a private cabana! Each cabana features ample shade, a comfy patio sofa and chairs with ottomans, two chaise lounge chairs, a safe for securing valuables, ceiling fan, and a mini fridge stocked with water. Guests of the cabanas can scan a QR code to order concessions items to be delivered directly to the cabanas. Cabanas can be rented Monday - Saturday 11am-2pm or 3pm-6pm for $45, or all day 11am-6pm for $90. Sunday rental is 12pm-2:30 or 3:30-6pm for $45 or all day 12pm-6pm for $90. Take a break from the sun and cool off at the Cove with one of our brand new cabana rentals! ***PLEASE NOTE THAT COST OF ADMISSION IS NOT INCLUDED IN CABANA RENTAL FEE***

Water Walking

Water Walking will run from June 2 - August 9, 2025. 
The cost is $4 per person, per session.
Multi-visit pass available for $30 for 10 sessions.
