Summer Camp


Get your bathing suits ready, it is time for fun in the sun with your friends! McAllister Recreation Center offers kids a chance to be active during summer break. Campers visit the department's aquatic facilities and other parks throughout the city. Other activities include movies, bowling, and nature field trips. Summer camp is offered to kids ages 6-11 years. The camp program meets for 11 weeks throughout the summer.


Summer Camp 2026

  • Registration Begins: TBD
  • Registration Fee: Non-refundable $50 per child
  • Dates: May 22 - August 6 (Monday-Friday)
    • No camp on May 25th or July 3rd
  • Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Before/After Care Services: 7:30 a.m.-9 a.m. and 4-5:30 p.m. (no additional cost)
  • Fee (Weekly): $150 per child for the first 2 children and $120 per each additional child. Includes before and after care services
  • Date to Finalize Financially Obligated Weeks: May 8, 2026
  • Camper and Parent Orientation Meeting: May 20, 2026 at 7 p.m.
