In its 20th year, the Columbian Park Zoo - Zoo Run Run 5K walk/run is BACK IN PERSON! The run/walk will again be held at the Columbian Park Zoo and is open to all ages! A virtual option is also available if you are unable to attend in person. Virtual registrants are not eligible for prizes, but is a great way to support the zoo and still receive a t-shirt! This year, the race route will stay in Historic Columbian Park, and will pass through the ZOO!!!!
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male/female overall runners, top male/female under 18, and top male/female over 65.
Registration begins on May 9th, 2022 and runs until midnight on July 14th. Registration is $35 per person. Registration includes a collectible 20th Anniversary Zoo Run Run t-shirt, one free admission ticket to the Columbian Park Zoo, 1 post-race donut from Mary Lou donuts, and opportunities to win some fun prizes. You must register prior to midnight on July 3rd in order to be guaranteed a t-shirt on race day.
Also back this year is the Kids Fun Run! All children under 10 years are eligible to participate in the Fun Run and must register online prior to midnight on July 3rd in order to receive a t-shirt. Registration for the Kids Fun Run with a t-shirt option is $15 per child. If a child wants to participate and not receive a t-shirt, they can just show up on event day (no need to register).
So grab your family and friends and get moving! All proceeds benefit the Columbian Park Zoo and are used to fund capital improvements, various Zoo projects, and educational programs for the community In addition, we have set up a donation page on the race website to help provide additional support for the zoo.
T-shirts will be available on race day for those that register prior to the t-shirt deadline.
