Governor Holcomb has decided AGAINST reopening playgrounds until further notice. Therefore, please DO NOT remove tape and/or blockades of any kind from playgrounds.
Please note that the Back on Track Indiana Plan is subject to change based on CDC guidance and other new information. We will continue to do our best to closely monitor these changes and provide updates as available.
In light of Governor Holcomb’s announcement of moving Indiana to the next stage of his Back on Track Indiana Plan, we will begin reopening basketball courts and public restrooms on Friday, May 22.
As of Saturday, May 23, we will begin reopening Shamrock Dog Park, pickleball courts, and tennis courts.
Castaway Bay and Vinton Pool will re-open on Sunday, May 24, at 50% capacity.
As of June 14/stage four of the Governor’s plan, Tropicanoe Cove and the Columbian Park Zoo may open at 50% capacity.
As of July 4, we will enter stage five of the Governor’s plan, and may open Tropicanoe Cove and the Zoo at full capacity.
As we work through the stages of Governor Holcomb’s Back on Track Indiana Plan, we ask that you continue to follow the CDC guidelines and practice social distancing. We also ask that you understand that the Back on Track Indiana Plan is subject to change based on CDC guidance and other new information.
