At approximately 1735 hours on Friday August 7, 2015, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to the 1300-block of Cincinnati Street regarding a report of multiple shots fired. Upon arrival on scene, officers learned that three separate occupied dwellings had been struck by rounds, which passed through the exterior walls into the dwellings. In one of these dwellings, a dog was struck by the fired round. The dog was transported to Purdue Small Animal Clinic for treatment. The dog is still alive as of the time of this release. No persons were struck by gunfire.
Through the investigation, it was learned that during an exchange of gunfire, the buildings were struck, as well as one vehicle. The vehicle was later located, and persons were detained and interviewed. Multiple crime scene locations were processed by LPD. Several weapons, as well as drugs, were seized.
Through this investigation, three persons were arrested for various charges. Arrested was:
-Arron B. Young. 35 years old. Charges for Mr. Young include Resisting Law Enforcement and Possession of Synthetic Marijuana.
-William D. Robinson. 29 years old. Charges for Mr. Robinson include 3 total outstanding warrants, Dealing Synthetic Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
-Aryn M. Muller. 24 years old. Charges for Ms. Muller include Dealing Synthetic Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
