On March 16th, at approximately 8:55pm, the Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force, Lafayette Police Department, and the Indiana State Police investigated a tip from a citizen in reference to possible drug dealing near a gas station in the 4200-block of South St. The tip from the concerned citizen led investigators to an apartment in the 100-block of Red Cloud Trl.
After making contact with the resident, officers located a subject hiding in a bathroom. The subject was identified as Ivory Owen Lockett (35 years old and of Chicago). Also in the bathroom, officers located marijuana, individual baggies with marijuana, and a firearm. The suspect had attempted to destroy the evidence and flush the marijuana down the toilet. Lockett was taken into custody. The firearm was later determined to be stolen out of Chicago, IL.

Ivory Owen Lockett (35 years old and of Chicago)
- Serious Violent Felon in Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Stolen Firearm
- Dealing Marijuana Over 30g
- Possession of Marijuana Over 30g with a Previous Conviction
