[ARCHIVED] Burglary arrest

On the morning of May 5th, at about 3:00 am, Lafayette police officers responded to a reported residential entry in the 700-block of Stinger Street. The female caller reported a male subject, who was known to her, had broken into her residence.

Police arrived and identified the alleged suspect as 24-year-old, Quintrell Nesbitt, of Gary, Indiana. Nesbitt was taken into custody and transported to the Tippecanoe County jail. There were no injuries reported. Nesbitt was arrested for burglary while armed with a deadly weapon, carrying a handgun without a license, and resisting law enforcement.
