[ARCHIVED] Armed Robbery at VP on Brady Ln

On Saturday, October 8th, at approximately 3:31am, the Lafayette Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Village Pantry in the 3100-block of Brady Ln. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the clerk who advised that a robbery had occurred. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’8”, and in his 20’s. The suspect was also wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The suspect displayed a weapon and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store northbound toward Pheasant Run Apartments.

There were no injuries reported during the robbery. The suspect is still at-large. Anybody with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call the Lafayette Police Department (807-1200) or the We-Tip Hotline (800-78-CRIME).
