[ARCHIVED] Lafayette Police Arrest Alleged Robbery Suspect


Alleged Robbery Suspect Arrested

Lafayette Police Department detectives conducted follow up investigations on a string of robberies between December 11 and December 13 at the following locations:

- December 11th at 6 South 9th Street - Village Pantry

- December 12th at 20 N 3rd Street – Pedestrian

- December 13th at 1008 South 4th Street – Village Pantry


Detectives collected case facts and evidence. Investigators developed an alleged suspect, 18-year-old Keywan Moten. Patrol officers located Moten in a vehicle in the 800 block of South 4th Street. Moten was subsequently arrested for three counts of robbery. The case will be forwarded to the Tippecanoe County Prosecutors office to review for charges.
