LAFAYETTE, IN – March 1, 2017 - Join Friends of Columbian Park Zoo on Saturday, May 6, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for the inaugural Zoo Brew and Wine Too pub crawl event. Zoo Brew and Wine Too will help support future projects and growth for the Columbian Park Zoo. The pub crawl will begin with the event check-in at the Lahr Atrium, located at 115 N. 5th Street in downtown Lafayette, Indiana.
Participants will be greeted at the Lahr Atrium by some of Columbian Park Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors and will receive their official Zoo Brew and Wine Too wrist bands. From there, participants will travel to the Knickerbocker Saloon, Professor Joe’s Sports Pub & Pizzeria and Digby's Pub and Patio throughout the night. Each location will include a signature cocktail and a variety of complimentary distillery samples. The evening will end at the Knickerbocker Saloon and Lahr Atrium for live entertainment, appetizers, door prizes and more.
Zoo Brew and Wine Too is for patrons 21 years old and over. Appetizers, music, beer and wine samples, as well as four drink tickets and a commemorative pint glass are included with the price of regular admission. The price is $45 per person for general admission or $30 for designated drivers (no alcohol included). Friends of Columbian Park Zoo members receive a $5 discount on price of admission. Official Zoo Brew and Wine Too T-Shirts will be available for purchase. Appetizers at the Lahr Atrium will be catered by Sovereign Catering & Events. Tickets are limited. Event tickets will be also be available for purchase on location during regular hours at Knickerbocker Saloon, Professor Joe’s Sports Pub & Pizzeria and Digby’s Pub and Patio beginning March 13.
