Domestic Disturbance Shot Fired
On June 27th, around 1:40 am, Lafayette Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1800 block of Shoshone Drive. A man and woman were outside arguing, when the male subject discharged a firearm. There was no one injured. Police arrived and the alleged suspect ran into a nearby apartment building. The man was not located, but police executed a search warrant on an apartment where the man lived and found weapons. Police seized the weapons, collected evidence, and are continuing to investigate the matter.
