Armed Robbery Investigation

On July 13th, 2017 at 11:40 pm, the Lafayette Police Department received a report of an armed robbery in the 1200 block of North 18th St.  Two victims reported that they were robbed by a white male and a black male, one of which had a handgun displayed.  One victim was physically assaulted and their property was taken.  The victim sustained minor injuries and later refused medical treatment.  The two suspects left the area on foot.  

Officers checked the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them.  The investigation of this incident is ongoing.  Anyone with information on this investigation is asked to contact the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200 or through the WeTip hotline.
