Communities nationwide will be coming together for the “34th Annual National Night Out” crime and drug prevention event.  National Night Out will involve over 16,500 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canada, and military bases worldwide.  In all, over 38.5 million people are expected to participate in ‘America’s Night Out Against crime’.

From 7 to 10 p.m. on August 1st, residents in Lafayette and across the nation, are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police.  Please join us at Columbian Park and across Lafayette to Give Crime & Drugs a Going Away Party.
