Burglary Arrest
The Lafayette Police Department recently investigated a string of burglaries at pawn shops wherein the suspect(s) stole firearms. On September 20th Cash Loan and Security in the 600 block of Sagamore Parkway North reported several guns stolen and on September 24th Ram-Z Exchange also reported a break-in with guns having been stolen.
Detectives gathered case facts and evidence to investigate and develop leads. Detectives arrested 38-year old Richard Zollars of Lafayette for Burglary and Theft. Police continue to investigate the case and recover stolen property.
