Five suspects arrested after officers observe suspicious vehicle

On October 15th, 2017 at approximately 9:00pm officers with the Lafayette Police Department observed a suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of Everett Street.  Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however the driver failed to yield.  Officers did not pursue the vehicle due to safety concerns.  The vehicle was located a short time later in the 1200 block of Morton St.  The two occupants fled on foot from the vehicle and were apprehended after a short foot pursuit.
