Expanding on the past year’s accomplishments and highlighting the City’s ongoing growth and plans for the future, Mayor Tony Roswarski will deliver his 15th annual State of the City Address during the City Council meeting on Monday, February 5, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Lafayette City Hall Council Chambers, 20 North 6th Street.
The State of the City address sets the tone for the year as the Mayor highlights recent projects, offers updates on current endeavors, and provides a comprehensive overview of City departments and fiscal responsibility to the City Council.
According to the Mayor, this is an opportunity to illustrate the efforts made to carefully balance the needs of our community while supporting progress and growth.
“2017 was the year of teamwork. Multiple city departments, industries, organizations and an army of passionate people working together day in and day out to ensure Lafayette not only thrives, but exceeds expectations,” Roswarski said.
The City Council meetings are held on the first Monday of the month and are open to the public.
